Prayer of Servitude
Lord God, thank You for service
For the perspective of wearing the servant’s apron
May it inspire me to listen once more
And realize I still have so much to learn
Embolden me for the second mile
May my hands never been seen as empty, but always willing
May my life be a life full of the small things
Grant me the wisdom to see the difference between small and insignificant
For all the ways I am given to each day
May my hands and feet be stewards of the Love that has made its home in me
AMEN.

Anyone who complains that they are bored and have nothing to do must not have made it a matter of prayer. God DOES answer that prayer and often opens a door to unexpected blessings.
