My Piece on “Sabbath” and Hallelujahs to a Beautiful Fall Day!

October 8, 2009

My first piece written for my church’s “ESixty” newsletter is published and zooming around the web! I wanted to share this with all of you, as well as give you a chance to read the other pieces written by some amazing writers in my community.

Here’s my piece!

Please take a few minutes to read the other extremely stellar pieces.

I have already been given my next assignment, which I will tackling with vim and vigor shortly. There is truly nothing else better in the world to me than grabbing hold of a mess of words and wrestling with them as they turn into something amazing — it’s almost like coaxing a shy introvert out of her shell, only to see that she’s been stunningly beautiful the whole time. It gets even better when I can look at these words, read them, poke and prod them around, and say, “Yeah…and I can do even better than that.” (The perfectionist nature in me, I suppose.)

On a completely opposite hand, it is a BEAUTIFUL fall day outside. The trees are quivering with bouquets of fiery leaves, the grass still shocks me with its green, and the sky is meltingly blue.

I’m stuck in an office WHY?!

Oh yeah: work…income…so I don’t live in a box.

Hmph.

So it’s gazing out the window for now.

Grace and peace, my dears.

This was so good, and your voice was strong in it. If someone didn’t tell me who wrote it, I would have guessed it was you. Good job, love!

    @ Glo!

Thanks so much dear, I am very proud of this piece. 🙂 I am already starting on the next one — I am extremely blessed to be in the place that I am, with the opportunities I have.

    Much love!
