vertical paradise + payment in basil

This Saturday, I will be helping my dear friend, Amanda the Fresh Chef, at Vertical Paradise Farms at their Spring Open House, from 9am to 6pm! We will be cooking up samples from 12pm to 2pm. Since it’s also the first day of the Fulton St. Farmer’s Market (huzzah!), you should make a day of it — breakfast at one of the many great local spots (Gaia! Marie Catribs! Cherie Inn!), waddle over to the Farmer’s Market and then come out to Vertical Paradise and see where some of your local produce comes from. If you live in the Grand Rapids area, stop by, inhale the glory of fresh spring produce and dance for joy while you snack on our samples.

(Oh, oh, and — I get paid in lettuce and fresh basil. I might have to roll around in it for pure joy when I get home.)
