pancakes + auntie-razzi

March 20, 2011

One great way to learn how to better use my camera and new lens is to attempt to get good, clear shots of an 18 month old niece who is constantly in motion. I like to refer to this as being a member of the “auntie-razzi.” I fiddled a lot with the aperture and shutter speed yesterday and out of over 100 photos, ended up with a handful that are at least a step in the right direction.

As for Miss Addison, she keeps pretty busy.

Sometimes you have to take calls from your publicist…

Sometimes you have to hobnob with adoring fans (such as your weirdo aunt who wears your monkey rain hat, your mama or your lamb)…

Sometimes you have to do business over breakfast…

And other times you are merely trying to hide from the paparazzi…

It’s a hard life, this life of fame.

(Auntie gush officially over. For now.)
